A bitter, refreshing, full-bodied beer with herbal notes and a distinct peppery finish. But it only has 4% alcohol! Simply put? A lighter beer, packed full of flavour.
The beer was originally brewed by Aleš Dvořák from Budvar and Pavel Palouš from the Cobolis microbrewery as a limited edition “Budvar Collaboration” - beers brewed in Budvar together with brewers from other microbreweries. However, thanks to the huge success of the beer, we have included it in our permanent offer under the name Budvar Redix and this year for the first time ever you can also enjoy it in cans.

Hořké, osvěžující, chuťově plné pivo s bylinným charakterem a silným peprným dozníváním.

Točené: Golden, almost clear, small but stable white foamy layer, mild Saazy bitter-sweet nose with a buttery background; mild bitter-sweet flavour, light bodied and quite dry, but quite soft; lingering - but quite thin - bitter-sweet finish. A bit thin, but all in all O.K....

Tap at the brewery. Feels like a well made and cared for Budvar. Easy drinking, quite clean, even though a bit bland, characterless. All in all good.

Tap at the anniversary fest. Deep golden body with a white head. Sweetish malty aroma, light herbal touches. Grainy malty background, mild and soft, herbal notes, lightly flowery, maybe mint? But that might be placebo from knowing there's Polaris inside. Well, it's okay, better than the regular Budvar lineup. 5 4 6 3 11 Rerate at the brewpub: Not bad actually. Flowery-honeyish, lightly minty fresh lager, still not my style but, on the other hand, def better than any Budvar stuff.
