33 cl bottle from Trenton Road Takeout. Honey gold pour. Rocky white head leaves draped lacing. Floral hop aroma hints at lemon, spice and grain. Zesty citrus flavor. Lemon, lime, grapefruit.. Biscuity malt. Herbal hops on backend. Light in body. Dry, fruity finish.

Pint at the Hanging Bat. Pours hazy yellow gold with a thick white head. Aromas are grainy, some lemon and spice. Taste is more of the same. Light bitter finish.

T: sweetish apple & banana, sourish lemon & wheat, bit spicy coriander.

On tap at Hops, Crewe (as Chouffe Session). Pours a hazy golden amber with a sizable frothy almost white head and good lacing. There’s malts and yeast in the aroma. In the mouth it is sweet though slightly watery with the usual Belgian flavours of banana, yeast and bubblegum. Also tropical fruits and later on hints of honey, pine and coriander leading to a slightly dry finish. This is rather nice – the low strength makes it more swiggable !

gefunden in einem Billa-Supermarkt in Retz und ich glaube, dass es dort niemand gekauft hätte, da knapp vor MHD noch viele Flaschen da waren
Es ist aber ein tolles belgisches 🍺, das tatsächlich den feinen Chouffe-Geschmack in eine leichte 🪰Form bringt. So ist es wirklich weniger schwer als der Klassiker, aber doch wunderbar aromatisch und fein trinkbar.
