Bottle at cgarvieuk tasting. Appearance - deep amber. Nose - marmalade and nuts. Boozy edge. Taste - bitter orange. Thick shred marmalade. Herby edge this time. Palate - medium bodied and tangy. Bitter sweet finish. Overall - good.

Bottle at Craig's. Pours clear amber with a thin off-white head. Aromas of toffee, caramel, nuts. Taste is more of the same. Light sweet finish. Solid barleywine.

Bottle. Clear ruby color with white head. Aroma is raisins, nutty, caramel. Taste is nutty, canned blood orange, raisins. Oily mouthfeel with low carbonation.

Bottle (from Koht). Pours dark ruby-black. Aroma is sweet, caramel, malt, booze. Flavor is sweet and bitter, caramel, burnt sugar, malt, booze. Finish is sweet and dry hoppy. Tap, taster. Tasted on the 18/03/2018 at "Barcelona Beer Festival 2018", L´Hospitalet (Spain). Dark brown colour with a tan white head. Aroma of raisins, toffee, wood and nuts. Taste is toffee, wood, nuts, dark dried fruits and some caramel. Slightly alcoholic finish. Medium sweet and dry. Next one please!

Draught at BeerGeek Bar. Quite clear, deep amber to copper colored. AROMA- fruity, cherries, berries, liquer. FLAVOR- moderately sweet, lightly bitter, fruity again, bitter berries, cherries, jam. Full bodied.

Draught @ Beergeek Bar, Prague. Pours very dark brown with a creamy tan head, heavy lacings. Aroma of sweet malt, caramel, toffee, wood, alcohol. Flavor is sweet, light bitter, rich sweet malty, caramel, toffee, wood, dried fruit, light alcohol. Medium to full body, soft to average carbonation, sweet finish with some warming alcohol. 290318
