Pours clear orangish amber with minimal head. Aroma has sweet white wine, caramel malts, bourbon and candied orange. Flavour has strong caramel base, some fruity white wine notes (apple, grape, orange peel), and a little bit of bourbon. Surprisingly sweet, but not cloying. Nice at first, but flavours become more conspicuous as you drink.

Canned, 330 ml at Ambasada. Murky amber with off white head. Caramel, malty, some dried fruit, light bourbon, white wine. Sweetish. Medium bodied.

Can. Light haze on this gold amber beer, good cream colour head. Smooth airy palate, a very mild dryness, decent fine carbonation. Airy malts, a light creamy sweetness. Much to my surprise the white wine barrelling is much the dominant character here. A smooth but very sli tart white wine with a Chardonnay like creamy grape sweetness. A touch of white wine vinegar, just a touch. The Jim Beam barrel is the junior partner and provides a very soft fruity bourbon with a large helping of equality soft barrel induced vanilla. Light finish. Very interesting brew and drinkable to boot

Can from The Gull, North Vancouver
Light amber colour, orange shades, cloudy, with small creamy head. Aroma of sweet orange, vanilla, lightly funky. Full bodied, smooth, moderately sweet; sweet malt flavour, sweet potatoes, some sweet orange peel, light and pleasant wine character, and gentle, pleasant booze in the finish.
Pretty good.

330ml on Ryan's deck shared with Alex. Appearance: cloudy copper with a white head. Aroma: caramel, wine barrel, maybe some saison notes. Taste: along the same lines, fruity, lots of wine notes. Overall: quite good, like a barrel aged super saison.

330mL can, pours a cloudy dark amber with a small white head. Nose is vinous and bourbony, with dark fruits, stone fruits, and a hint of tartness. Flavour is gently tart, with white wine notes, a hint of bourbon, and stone fruits. Kind of thin and cheap, but it's alright.

330 ml can. Pours a copper color with moderate head. Aromas of agave, mashed fruit, burnt orange and caramel malts. Flavors follow same with additional candied fruit and sweet bourbon with a touch of Belgian yeast. Neat!
