Tap hollywood gardens. Big & black. Nice roasty nose, not much coffee if any on the smell. Taste is fairly mellow, decent porter. Never in yer face with the coffee, well balanced. PRetty good first impressions. There is a little bitter burnt charcoal lurking in the back lie stout. Not bad, better than expected.

12 oz. can purchased as a single at Royal Liquors - 103rd St in Kansas City, Missouri. The pour is black, deep brown with a one inch, well formed khaki head. The aroma is roast coffee, bit of char, caramel malt sweetness and toast. The taste is the coffee, very much a cold brewed coffee sharpness, giving way to general roast, and a bit of the sweetness towards the back. The palate is light to medium bodied, active carbonation and roast, toast and soft caramel in the finish.

Can. Opaque dark brown beer, small pale tan head. Airy palate, a little soft, modest fine carbonation. Mellow dark malts, mildly tangy. Mild espresso coffee. Light finish. It's all very laid back but fine.
