Bottle@pbf XIV. Pitch black colour, minor head. Aroma is liquorice, some chocolate, mild wood and some alcohol to it. Flavour is liquorice, nutty tones, alcohol and chocolate syrup. Super sweet.

--Bottled at PBF XIV. -- Black, no head. Aroma of caramel cinnamon and vanilla. Very sweet with full body and rounded, viscous mouthfeel. Caramel and chocolate cake, cinnamon and custard. Like all Cycle beers it tastes like unbaked chocolate cake with random additives. If they'd cost $0.50, they'd be worth it.

Opaque colour, tiny off-white head. Roasted, coffee, cinnamon aroma. Full-bodied. Sweet, lots of coffee and dark chocolate. Touch of Bourbon. Chocolaty pastry stout.

650ml bottle. PBF XIV, 2024. Poured black in color. Cinnammon bun in aroma and flavor, vanilla and sweetness, cloying thick. Full bodied, syrupy.

Bottle (2021 edition I think) shared with Joen and Laura. Opaque pitch black color, medium sized dark brown colored head. Aroma is malts, heavy coffee, heavy vanilla and cinnamon. Flavor has more malts coffee and cherry with cinnamon and vanilla a little more in the background. Thick syrupy texture, soft carbonation. Solid but a little too much cinnamon-cherry for me to really like it.

Svart med lys brunt skum. Lukter røstet malt, kanel, mørk sjokolade. Smaker godt av røstet malt, kaffe, vanilje, kanel. Fyldig og smooth.

8-4-8-3-16 Sample from bottle @ Café Sara, Oslo. Pours black, with a small creamy, mocha head. Aroma is dark roasted malts, with molasses, liquorice, herbal notes and warm spices, as well as dark fruits, sweet coffee and bourbon barrels. Full body, with soft carbonation. Flavour is dark roasted malts, fruity coffee with notes of raisins, liquorice and molasses, as well as sweet spicy notes of cinnamon, herbal notes and bourbon barrels.

Flaska från share. Svart med liten brun krona. Doft domineras av chili och grön paprika från kaffet. Mycket kanel, fortfarande grön chiliton, choklad, Bourbon. Visserligen ett år gammal, men kaffet är verkligen avslaget på det värsta sätt här.

Bomber big thanks to Kenny. It pours thick dark blackness with a small tan cap. The aroma is sweet, intoxicating, warming spice, big cinnamon, golden grahams, loads of chocolate gateaux, cacao nibs, vanilla cake frosting, touch of dried fruits, rich roasted, chocolate brownie, intoxicating sweetness and rocky road. The taste is slick, sticky, bitter - sweet, earthy, rich roasted malt, chewy, toothy, warming cinnamon sweetness, golden grahams, chocolate gateaux, vanilla cake frosting, touch of dark fruits, cherry drops, black forest gateaux, jammy and some warming alcohol with a spicy finish. Fulsome body and moderate, foamy carbonation. Fun stuff, maybe a touch too much cinnamon? Good anyhow.
