The Czechs nickname their beer “Czech Bread” - and pFriem Czech Lager is certainly a staple item. It’s brilliantly golden with fluffy white foam, aromas of fresh grass and spring flowers, a complex malty bouquet, and a crisp, snappy finish. It's seriously crafted and seriously fun to appreciate.

16 oz can. Aroma is grassy, bready, chalky, floral. Pours hazy golden with a two finger soapy white head with excellent retention. Taste has a beautiful firm herbal hop bitterness backed by a mild candy-like sweetness, finishing very dry. Absolutely everything I look for in a Pilsner.

Pretty good. Reminds me of the traditional Czech lagers that I had in the Czech Republic though that was some years back. Aromas and flavors are clean, fresh bittersweet with just right carbonation. Could drink these till the cows come home.

16oz can from Brewers Haven. Clear golden pour, one finger foamy white head. Malty, bready aroma, grainy, biscuity. Taste initially is nice deep bready malts before being supplanted by a sharp, crisp bitter bite. Nice.
