MONYO Brewing Co. introduces its first sour ale, Sour Rise. This light, fruity summer beer was made with the use of passion fruit puree, and was soured with Lactobacillus and Pediococcus. It was brewed with rye malt that complements the sour characteristics. A real explosion of tropical flavors with an orange color and passionfruit scent. It is refreshingly bitter, the perfect thirst-quenching beverage for hot summer days.

Bottle, thanks to the Raven guys! Hazy yellow body, white head. Perfumey tropical aroma, pungent, white wine, a bit tart. Tart taste, white wine with light passion fruit, lean but overall a very good flavored sour!

On tap at Neked Csak Dezso Budapest. Unclear pale yellow coloured, medium sized white head, sourish tropical fruits nose. Acidic lemony and sourish tropical fruits taste with mild spicy notes in the finish. Pleasant.

Draught @ 10th. BBF 2018 [ 10th Borefts Beer Festival 2018 ] @ Brouwerij de Molen, Bodegraven, Netherlands. [ As MONYO Sour Rise ].ABV: 5.9%. Hazy medium yellow colour with a average, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, off-white to white head. Aroma is moderate malty, pale malt, wheat, tart, sour, passion fruit (maracuja), moderate yeasty, fruity yeast. Flavor is moderate sweet and light to moderate acidic with a long duration, tart, sour, pake malt, passion fruit (maracuja), fruity yeast. Body is medium, texture is oily to watery, carbonation is soft. [20180921] 7-3-7-3-15

On tap. Hazy pale yellow body with a quickly collapsing white head. Aroma of elderflower, goosberry, lime zest, bell pepper and lemon juice. Taste of elderflower, passion fruit, lime zest, lemon juice and some grape juice. Fruity and refreshing. Nice one for sure.

Borefts X. Day 2. Keg. Hazy gold beer, small white head. Light and semi dry palate with a fine minerally crispness. A nice tart mangoish flavour, touches of orange and grapefruit. Piney hop and mild hop spice. My kind of sour.
