Bottle from Drink? Hebden Bridge. Dark reddy-brown colour with a very thin head. Sweetened dark malts, with some smoothness about them - the result is tasty and its high alcohol content doesn't impact the brew's taste. 'Cheshire' have done very well with the styling on this one.

24/8/2019. Bottle courtesy of Colin shared at the Ipswich & North Essex beer share. Pours clear dark amber with an average size creamy off-white to head. Aroma of toffee, malt, whiskey, wood, chocolate and dark fruit. Medium sweetness and moderate bitterness. Medium to full body, sticky texture, average carbonation. Decent stuff.

By gravicask at Chelmsford & Mid Essex Winter Beer Festival. Rosewood body. No head. Smell of mid-sweet dried fruits, hints of tobacco. Jam-like flavours, lightly smoked. Sweet malt-fruity tail. Too sweet in the long run (16.02.2017).
