Bottle from De Bierliefhebber. Aroma is heavily peated with roasted malt, whiskey, oak, chocolate, booze, and ash. Flavour is sweet with a decent roasty bitterness and some warming alcohol. Body is medium to full, could have used a little extra substance to carry the aroma. Quite the peaty and boozy bastard, hardly balanced, pleasant to sip on though.

Bottle. Inky black pour. Aroma of strong peat, heavy smoke, chocolate, tarr, ashy licorice, malt and some burned caramel. Taste has really strong peat, iodine, heavy smoke, bitter chocolate, bitter smokey licorice, a little booze and molasses. Heavy smokey Islay finish, damn this is strong stuff. I you like potent Islay flavors , then this is amazing, otherwise this might be too much.

Black and oily with no head. Aroma and flavour have a lot of smokey peat and leather. The whisky comes through strongly. Backed up by bittersweet dark malts.

I really like this series. This one is (of course) lovely peaty, without pushing it too far. Warming alcohol, some wood, whisky. Base beer is thick, roasty, coffee. Heavy and lovely.

A deep dark imperial stout with a thin mocha head. In aroma, sweet chocolate malt with light grassy hops, light whisky barrel notes, woody notes, dark fruits, molasses, very nice. In mouth, a nice bitter chocolate with loads of whisky barrel, alcohol warmth, woody notes, plum, very nice and complex. Bottle at L'autre oeil.

Butelka 330ml. Czarne z niewielką i błyskawicznie znikającą, brązową pianą, trochę to przypomina bąbelki w coca-coli.
