What fresh freak of nature is this?! Hazy flavors without the haze? West Coast hopping without mega bitterness? Quite the contrary kaiju towering before you. Double dry-hopped with a fruity blast of Citra & Mosaic, yet finishes super smooth. This beast is truly the best of both worlds…Release the hound!

12 oz cans from Publix Oviedo FL. Looks like a trad IPA in the glass, light chill haze, golden to copper, medium head. Nose hints at resin, sweat sock, onions. Flavor similar but also some grapefruit rind and something semi-dank. Semi-sweet lightly caramelized malt profile, biscuity maybe. Medium bitter finish. Nice to see a trad IPA on the market, but in that tradition, this sits squarely in the middle of the road.

12 oz. can from Publix. Pours a hazy gold color with a thick ivory head and great retention. Very good lacing too. Mixed pine and pineapple aroma. The taste is similar to the aroma: Grapefruit notes up front with piney hops in the finish. Mellow bitterness for 48 IBUs. And the 8.0% ABV is pretty well hidden too. Not my style, but MUCH better than their Hazicus Maximus. Medium body and medium carbonation. Restrained bitterness.

Bought locally. Canned March 6th 2025.
Pours a little darker than pale gold, pretty head of foam, good retention, excellent lacing.
Sure does smell like a double IPA. Tropical fruit, good malt presence, dank, not my favourite aromas, to be honest.
Taste is tropical fruit, caramel and toasted malt, kind of sweet to boost the abv and some alcohol, now that I mentioned the abv. Citrus is there and helps.
Mouthfeel is good.
I probably wouldn't buy this again.

Optisch trübes Gold, in der Nase hopfig, harzig. Im Trunk ebenso, Frichtkorb, Trauben, keine Spur alkoholisch, vielleicht sogar hinten etwas wässrig. Okay.

Pours golden with a thick white head. Aroma of booze, some resin, pine. Taste has resin, some more pine and vague citrus. Palate is more of the same. Definitively more west coast.

Single from 604. Smudges born on date. Maybe June? Pint glass at home. Mildly hazy, not absolutely opaque, lacy white-washed head. Earthy, peppery, orange oil, veg. Juicy, pure orange juice, candied grapefruit, sweet onion finish, lingering pith bite. Low carb, frothy, thick, a touch difficult. Decent. Better with bubbles.

12 ounce can from Festival Northland, 3/17/24 (barely). Hazy amber, medium white head, average retention. Aroma of orange, tangerine, pale malt. Taste is tangerine, pale malt. Mild bitterness. Decent.

Over-ripe orange, lemon, biscuit malt, pain and grapefruit peel aroma. Hazy golden yellow with nice off-white head. Moderately sweet old orange juice, lemon, lime, biscuit malt, and moderately bitter grapefruit peel flavor. Okay body.
