Shared with Farees. Appearance: almost clear pale golden with a white head. Aroma: grassy, a lot of onion, dank. Taste: along the same lines, quite dry, moderately to highly bitter. Overall: another good old-school IPA, not for me, though.

Poured from a 510 ml bottle dated April 17, 2024. Aroma is hop forward with lots of notes of grapefruit, orange and tropical citrus. Hints of mangos, guava and stone fruit. Medium dank, oily pine resin notes. Light cracker malt and alcohol notes. Pours a rather clear, brilliant, yellow gold with a large, thick, pillowy, white head that recedes slowly to a small film that lingers. Moderate lacing and small legs. Flavor has a bit of a sweetness with medium light cracker malt notes. Fairly strong, assertive bitterness with light alcohol notes. Moderately strong notes of grapefruit and dank, oily pine resin. Lighter notes of tangerine with hints of guava and stone fruit. Lingering bitterness in a moderately dry finish. Mouthfeel is medium bodied with medium carbonation. Low astringency and low alcohol warmth. Overall, a solid old school Pliny that's a bit fruitier and danker in the aroma than the classic version. Crisp and easy drinking, but it packs a punch of bitterness in the finish that helps hide the alcohol and carry you into your next sip.

Bottle. Pours a clear yellow hue with a large white head. A big bouquet of floral hops, citrus. Big sweet citrus, some dank elements. But damn this is as smooth as ice. I could drink 10 pints of this.

Sampled from the tap at Aces & Ales Tenaya. Pours a clear light gold with a white head that dissipates to the edges and laces. Aroma has dank citrus and grass with some light pine and a hint of grain underlying. Flavor has a combination of melon, dank citrus and pine with a bit of sweet grain underlying.

Rated at Platinum Beer Lounge - Viikki Branch HQ. Fruity, floral hoppy and piney with some grass, resin, citrus, grapefruit and herbal notes. Sweetish and floral, but surprisingly low amount of bitterness. Still pretty good though

16oz can. Cloudy golden pour, one finger frothy white head. Aroma is fruity, stone fruit, tropical. Taste follows with dry fruity flavors, stone fruit, melon, bready notes. Mild chalky feel.
Heja BVB! I’ll take Pliny over the relic and sexual abuser front runners we currently have. Floral, crisp, and clean. Fantastic.

Straw colour, with a bit of haze, and a thin head. The aroma shows some citra, some stone fruit, pear, and pale malt. Good pale malt base, weedy hop taste, medium bitterness. Has a lot of hop. Well-balanced.
