16oz can pours out crisp clean golden topped with a white head. Nose is nice big dank citrus hops and some malts. Taste is more of the big citrus dank notes and a mellow malt.

Yellow body, with a medium, creamy head. Aroma of grapefruit, pine, tropical fruits, some biscuit. Tastes similar. Medium, a bit creamy mouthfeel, with a moderate carbonation. Finishes smooth, medium bittee, fruity, piney. Very well balanced, quite intense, but smooth at the same time. Lovely west coast IPA character. Not my favourite Pliny variant, but another very quaffable one. Score: 8 / 4 / 8 / 4 / 17

Certainly can at the US vs. CZ West Coast tasting. Slightly hazy golden-yellow body, off-white head. Subdued aroma, resin-driven, smooth, not unpleasant, not doing much. Lean, dry, taste, citric hops, maybe light bitterness, almost no bitterness. Okay, maybe a bit old... but I was in two minds if it was US or not, so yeah... not the freshest I'd say. Still, a decent beer I'd gladly have had fresh, showed promise.
