Tangy pineapple meets the unfiltered, danky hop cones of Resin for a DIPA that’s bright as hell. Available for a limited time in our super special Resin rotating series.

My can says Pineapple Resin DIPA. It pours clear pale with a rapidly fading head. Has a pineapple laced hop perfume aroma the permeated the whole room when I popped the can. First big swig is a jaw cracking punch in the palate of bitterly awful rude ass fricken IPA nastiness. I cringe as it goes down the back of my throat. What an ass kicking goliath of an arrogant ball busting MFer. Forget about the pineapple flavor, which is somewhat there; the mouth coating sticky feeling of drippy grippy trippy heavy vile IPA-ish atrocity totally holds your mental focus. Sixpoint has always made some hellacious intense vicious gooey IPA, and this is no exception. Whew. My plowed mouth, palate and rototilled taste buds are ruined for a while. Will somebody please get me a can of ice cold macro light pale lager for a chaser? No, make that three. LoL.

Slightly hazy gold with a large white head that lingered. Sweet, tangy and boozy with pineapple and piney hops. Long finish. Moderately full bodied.

Can, from Whole Foods, Manhattan. Pours cloudy lemon yellow with a small foamy whitish head, citrus-pineapple aroma, adequate carbonation, medium bitter citrus peel-pineapple taste, thin smooth body, long finish. Very smooth and easy to drink despite the high alcohol content.

Pretty hazy, very light golden coloured body with a straw-like glow and a very thick, four to five centimetre tall off-white head that's microfoamed and leaves a strong lace. Aroma of resin (of course), pineapple, alcohol, light grain, a dash of pepper and quite a bit of flowers - pretty strong in the nose in a nice way. Medium-bodied; Pretty rich resinous and dry, grassy notes show at first with a lot of fresh hoppiness that isn't entirely bitter (sort of a blend of old and new school hops), but is very resinous and pretty fruity. Aftertaste is crisp, dry, showing some floral, perfume and very grassy qualities, but a nice support from malt, with a light sweetness from subdued fruits that give a good balance throughout and seemingly less (around 7,5 per cent-ish) alcohol than advertised. Overall, a nice, fragrant and fruity beer that has some hop bitterness, but more of a crisp, dryness from those same hops with a little pineapple and lot of resin. Great to try fresh and local-ish! I sampled this sixteen ounce, pint-sized can, purchased from ABC Fine Wine & Spirits in Orlando (Lake Buena Vista), Florida (Store #004) on 30-April-2022 for US$5,09 with a 'best by of Sep 8th 2022' on the bottom of the can and sampled at my house here in Washington on 31-May-2022.

Taster at Valhalla. Hazy golden pour, spotty head, ring. Aroma is pineapple and something that pineapple doesn't go with. Whew! Taste is pineapple meringue, not working for me. Sticky.

On tap @Bold Rock Asheville, 6/29/23. Downing my cheap burger with an actual beer. Hazy, pale golden honey, hyper frothy head. Potato pancake nose, extra onion. Soft, fruity pancake-sweet starch IPA. Super onion, bitter orange, starchy, juicy bland, weak grass, faint medicinal, grassy finish. Disappointed.
