Can from Drankenhandel Leiden. Aroma is cinnamon and tonka with chocolate, roasted malt, gingerbread, spice, some vanilla. Flavour is sweet with a mild bitterness and a little alcohol in the finish. Full body. Very good spicy tonka Stout.

Clear dark brown to black beer, small creamy irregular beige head, unstable, falls down quickly, non adhesive. Aroma: oh my, lovely, lots and lots of tonka beans, cinnamon, chocolate, some vanilla, hints of coffee, sweet impression, more cinnamon, lovely! MF: ok carbon, medium to full body. Taste: lots of good roast, chocolate, coffee, quite some gingerbread, tonka beans, a bit sweet, chocolate, more spices. Aftertaste: quite some alcohol, gingerbread, some overripe banana, more alcohol, yeasty touch, more gingerbread (peperkoek), caramel, sugary, alcoholic finish.

Can at home. Pours black, nose is chocolate, tonka, vanilla, cinnamon, caramel, taste is similar.

330ml can. Pours black with a tan head. Aroma of tonka, vanilla, dark chocolate, cinnamon. Taste is very rich, plenty of tonka, vanilla, dark chocolate and a huge whack of cinnamon (almost too much), bittersweet but mostly sweet finish. Medium-full bodied.

Draught at Lauter, medium dense stable creamy head, opaque black colour, chocolate and cinamon, quite strong praline sweetness, hints of ash and candid fruit noticable bitter chocolate bitterness. Really nice and enjoyable just a bit overly sweet.
