440ml can: BB 11th September 2024, bought and drank in the Boot on Sunday 28th January 2024, sat with Bertie. Dark maroon body, off-white crust. Pretty sweet from start to finish, must have been a decent 90 Shilling before it was stuffed into the Rum Barrels. Raisins and Rum esters/flavours throughout, red berries maybe, not as 'boozy' as I'd hoped, but interesting and pleased I had it.

Sample courtesy of Grumbo, cheers Graham! Amber brown colour, thin bubbly rim and aroma of toffee, caramel, rum barrel. Taste is sweet, malty, caramel, molasses, dried fruits, rum, booze, with tangy bitterness. Medium bodied, low carbonation, drying rummy bitter finish. Nicely drinkable.

Dark reddish brown beer, white head. Smells.of caramel, booze and fruit. Flavour follows suit. Berries, apple, caramel, malt, a boozy hit. Warming, and just enough alcohol to make you respect it but on the whole it's nicely balanced.
