Black colour with generous tan head. Rich caramel, with balanced booziness, strong nuttiness too, peanuts; sweet, warming.
Excellent.

Big thanks to Dowon! Bomber split by 3. Black, thick tanned head. Nose is lightly boozy warming very thick sweet maple, bourbon, brandy syrup, caramel, mocha, pralines, low molasses. Taste is boozier malt syrup, bourbon, brandy, sugar, sweet, low maple, touch molasses, pralines, all the thick sweet goodness you could want, body is likewise,… Damn. This series remains so tight.

Pours very dark brown. Small white head. Smell is bit booze, some oak. Taste is full, sharp bourbon, boozy notes. Mild raisins, nice mouthfeel and carbonation. A bit harsh on the boozyness as it goes in, but it quickly mellows out during the taste . Nice

Bottle share, thanks Stevoj. Dark brown pour with a modest tan head. The aroma is decadent… one of those pours I could sit around and just sniff all evening. Great barrel notes, chocolate, vanilla, brown sugar, mocha… wonderful aroma. The taste delivers a balanced blend of barrel notes to go with the layers of sweetness in the blend. Lots of influence from the bourbon barrel, chocolate, vanilla, coconut. A little bit of dark pitted fruit. Seamless layers of flavor. An excellent beer.

Bottle from Albertsons, cellared. Smooth, oily black pour, tiny ring of head. Aroma, wow! Deep and rich, mildly sweet, chocolate, roast grains. Taste, even better. Smooth and slick, molasses, roast grains, fruity notes. Near perfect blend of their barrel beers.

Bottle at tasting. Dark pour. Aroma of red fruit, vanilla, milk chocolate, caramel fudge and cherry. Taste has milk chocolate, bourbon vanilla, raisin, booze, nuts, ripe fruit and a long lasting finish. I expected something amazing and got what I wanted.

650 ml bottle, shared 3 ways. Pitch black color, thin tan head. Aroma shows me roasted malts, vanilla, light bourbon, brandy notes, cream, milk chocolate, plum notes, some biscuits.

Flavor is just wonderful. Moderate bourbon throughout the sip, vanilla, brownie batter hints. The sip ends on toffee and some oak. Honestly, every time I take a sip I get a combination of different flavors. The complexity of this is high. The alcohol is damn near completely hidden. This one will sneak up on you. Delightful.
