Granát je tmavý ležák vařený ze čtyř druhů sladu, díky nimž získává toto jedinečné pivo svůj nezapomenutelný charakter. Typické čokoládové tóny ve vůni a nasládlou chuť dodávají tomuto pivu speciální slady Carared a Chocolate wheat, zatímco jemnou a vyváženou hořkost získává použitím žateckého chmele.

Bottle shared on the train to the Cotteridge Convention 2015. Thanks to Fergus for this one. Pours clear amber-brown with a creamy tan head. The nose holds toasted brown bread and caramel. Medium sweet flavor with a slight metallic edge, light burnt toast, dry caramel, mild earthy bitterness. Light to medium bodied with average carbonation. Nicely balanced in the finish with more burnt toasted brown bread, light grain, toffee, earthy hops. Very nice dunkel.

Pours a dark brown color topped with quite some tan colored head. Chocolate aroma, slightly roasty with some coffee notes in there. Taste is mildly sweet, chocolatey with some raosy notes. Finish slightly roasty and bitter, but all very gentle. I like dunkels very much, and this one really proved to be delicious.

Bottle thanks to Fergus on the train to the Cotteridge Convention. It pours clear deep red-brown with a small white head. The nose is soft, sweet malty goodness, toasty brown sugar, caramel and mild spice. The taste is clean, bitter-sweet, cola, caramel, toasty, cardboard, mild toast and coffee with a dryish finish. Medium body and foamy carbonation. Smooth, balance and rather drinkable. Good Tmavy.

Malty, roasted taste with notes of coffee, chocolate, dark bread, raisins and a balanced spicy bitterness in the finish. Medium body, with just a touch of sweetness. Tasty and well balanced. Nice one.
