440ml draught at Bird, CPH. Unclear dark brown body, spotty lacing, bubbles on the surface. Dark grainy nose with hints of herbal hops Mid-sweet chocolate malty flavours added by a piney touch. Roasted bitter end. Fine depth. Likable. (CPH, Kastrup 26.11.2018).

Bottle. Dark brown color, creamy foam. Aroma: old hops, nectar, sweetness, slightly citrus, light caramel, honey. Sweet taste, caramel, coffee, medium bitterness, a little pine and fruit.

Bottle. Deep brown to black. Beige head. Weak aroma. Old. Medium body. Toast, roast, caramel, resin. Light plus bitterness.

Craft TCR bottleshare. Thanks to Dan. Almost opaque dark brown beer, good tan head. Smooth and semi dry palate, reasonable fine carbonation. Smooth malts, sweetish but with pretty tangy dark chocolate. A little hop spice on the finish. Too tangy to be that good.

0,46 fra fat på The Bird (CPH airport), på vei hjem etter herlige augustdager i Dronningens by og Dronningmølle: brunsvart med fint skum som varer. Kaffe, mørkbrent malt, ristede nøtter, grapefrukt og bitterappelsin i fin kombinasjon. Lett drikkelig med fin bitterhed i avslutningen.

Bottle shared at Craft Beer Co, Holburn, 16/07/2018. Many thanks to Daniel A nutty brown coloured pour with a halo of tan head. Aroma i s nutty brown malts, kvas. Flavour is composed of semi sweet, nutty rasiin loaf, liquorice. Palate is medium bodied, oily, highish carboantion. . Nice.

Bottle split at CBC tasting, thanks to Danny, 16/07/18. Extremely dark mahogany brown with a decent beige cap. Nose is ripe dark fruits, charr, spice, toffee, light pine dusting. Taste comprises mellow roast, bitter edge, pine needle, background liquorice, spice, charr, brown bread. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying peppered with dusty hop bitterness. Ok CDA.
