A golden cider with a thin white head. In aroma, mix of tart apples, Brett, light acidity, very nice. In mouth, tart mix of apples, Brett, mineral notes, and toothpaste over orange juice...thin. Bottle is probably 4 years old, from Maine.

Fresh bottle drunk 10/17/15.
Pale golden with a light haziness and sediment left behind in the bottle. Bubbles fizzles away.
Not much cascades in the nose, though it’s only dry-hopped, though perhaps a touch of light citrus and some woodiness. Mostly, lots of funk, brett, appleskin, earth and just a pinch of toffee-like sugar. Lovely nose, with no alcohol or flaws and a moderate brett aroma that isn’t aggressive.
The flavor is very light, tart apple juice, but fermented and developed alongside the funky brett, light citrus and moderate lactic acids. Tight, moderate carbonation creating a refreshing drinkability, and very dry with tons of tartness on the finish. Delightful stuff and right up there with a lot of the French ciders. The mall-lactic fermentation has reduced the brightness, but this is intended and to-style. Neither alcohol nor flaw.

On tap at Meridian Pint’s DC Beer Week Cider Event. Pours a clear, bright lime green. Looks like albarino wine, zero head. Nose is sweet, almost candy like, honey, some lemon, pear, apple juice. Flavor is nice, light lemon, candy, apple juice, honey, prickly pear, lime. Lightly sweet, lightly spritzy finish.

Clear pale yellow color, champagne bubbles and coca cola head. Aroma of lemongrass, apple skins. Taste is dusty straw and apples. Decent. Creative.
