Tap@MBCC May 2017, Copenhagen - pours black with a beige head. Roasted and sweet malty aroma and taste with chocolate, caramel, dark fruit, charred dark malty nuances, some vanilla and rum soaked wooden notes in the close.

Draught. Pitch black colour with a small beigeish brown head. Aroma is roasted, chocolaty, some alcohol and mild rum tones. Flavour is wooden, roasted malts, chocolate, some toffee, alcohol and also rum. Sweet, but not overly so.

[ As Borg Surtur Nr. 8.6 ].Clear dark black brown colour with a large, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, beige head. Aroma is moderate to heavy malty, roasted, dark malt, chocolate. Flavor is moderate to heavy sweet and moderate bitter with a long duration, dark malt, licorice, chocolate, caramel, sweet malt, light alcohol - rum. On tap at B�din �lfestival, Bod�. Pours a pitch black colour with a small beige head. Aroma of liquor, especially whisky, oak and alcohol. The flavour is similar but the rum is more pronounced along with oak, coffee and dark chocolate. Has a slick and silky mouth feel, full-bodied and medium bitterness. A rich IS with a solid barrel touch.
