Another monstrous cataclysmic beer label!
If you tried Black Blizzard, White Typhoon and Crimson Tornado, than you know we continued with this monster-like beer series.
With Citra, Mosaic and Simcoe in whirlpool and dryhopping, we added Southern Cross SubZero hop Kief for extra hoppy touch...
This is why we brew!

Dark brown with a frothy, off-white head. Dark chocolate aroma with tropical fruit basket on top. Taste is roasted bitter with a touch of bitter cacao at the finish. Faint tartness. Big, sweet malty body just underneath. Pleasant. Doesn’t develop further though. Light boozy warmth at the finish. Decent.

Canned, 500 ml at Ambasada. Dark brown with beige head. Caramel, cocoa, pine, somehow disappointing, tad bitter. Expected way more.

Can thanks to Marko pours dark brown almost black topped with a tan head. Nose is rich roast malts some ash tropical fruit hops, very interesting twist on the style. Taste is more of the nice rich malts roast malts some ash and a citrus tropical fruit. Very interesting take on a black ipa.... maybe like a new school style black ipa. Lacking the pine hops.

Can from probably Goblet or Ambasada, shared with BuckeyeBoy, djoeye and others. Very dark brown body, off-white head. Citric, earthy, bit resinous aroma, mild chocolate. Creamy taste, dank notes mixing with chocolat and caramel, bit watery, not much bitterness but it works.

Can, 0.5l. Deep, murky brown pour, one finger frothy beige head, long lasting. Very good retention, sticky lacing on the glass. Nice on the nose, roasted malt, coffee, chocolate. Citruses in the background. Medium body, medium carbonation, lively. Smooth mouthfeel and texture, refreshingly fizzy, slightly chewy, easily drinkable. Roasty bitter taste with slightly tart notes in the background. Aroma of roasted malt, ash, coffee, chocolate. Toasted caramel, light spice. Citrus notes in the background. Slightly burnt. Subtle liquory notes. Long lasting finish, dry, lingering roasty bitterness. Quite tasty.
