Can from Punta, Pula, imbibed along the way at the Arena, watching people ice skate where gladiators once fought. Fun. That's where the fun ends. I wish I saw that it was before we got it (other than a new tick), but that one's on us. Murky golden body, off-white head. Sharp fake mango-passion fruit aroma, quite heavy with some vanilla notes. Oh no... The taste... yeah, that same fakeish passion fruit - mango combination dominates on top of a dull, way, way, way too sweet smooth taste and some herbal notes. Sugary, dull, not too enjoyable - but hey - it hides the alcohol well, yaay... Ugh..Whoever created this should be made to drink a full, warm can of it themselves. That would be punishment enough. As for us, we abandoned at least half of the can along the way, maybe getting money for the can will bring someone some joy...

Can that my daughter bought me from M&S for Father's Day - cheers Em! Hazy orange with a thin white head. Nice passion fruit up front, lightly creamy texture. The more you drink though, the more the flavour dies. It's not unpleasant; it just feels very muted and a bit meh. Milkshake IPAs are (in my opinion) a silly style and if I have one I want it to go ridiculously over the top and at least make me smile at the daftness of it all. This one doesn't do that. It's boring.

Can. Hazy amber beer with a cream bead. Tropical fruit and light lactose aroma. Tropical fruit and malt flavor with light alcohol and light lactose. Medium bodied. Good bitterness. Tropical fruit and malt linger with light alcohol, light lactose, and light summer fruit.
