Česká kooperace. Když vás osloví pivovar, který pro svět definoval plzeňské pivo, jestli spolu neuvaříte něco moderního, ostřejšího, nedá vám nezkusit, jak asi kvasí Cold IPA na otevřené spilce. Tak jsme do toho šli – pár pytlů rýžových vloček, co jsme nasypali do varny u nás, narostlo na několik palet, na chmel už to chce dodávku a tanky sahají výš, než vůbec dohlídneme. Kolik rozdílu v konečném pivu udělá velikost várky? Každý z nás uvařil stejný recept s vlastním plzeňským sladem a ležáckými kvasnicemi, ale hlavně stejnou kombinací amerických a novozélandských chmelů pro pořádné citrusově-tropické aroma usazené v mimořádně světlém, velmi suchém a slušně hořkém, pitelném pivu.

Can from Beerdome. Clearvpale yellow with a white head. Aroma is sweet, malty, hay and moderate hoppy - grass and fruity. Flavor is medium sweet and moderate bitter. Sweet and moderate bitter finish. 240924

Almost clear golden yellow beer with a big white head. Aroma of stone fruits, melon, tangerine, citrusy hops. Taste of yellow stone fruits, mango, apricot, tangerine, citra, yeast, long bitter finish.

Can 0.5l. Almost clear, straw colored. AROMA- citrus jelly, meadow grasses, rice. FLAVOR- neutral to dry, moderately bitter, more bitter finish, the same as aroma. Medium bodied. I'm afraid version from Pilsen was a bit better...

Draught at Kafe u Krtka. Almost clear, pale gold colored. AROMA- citrusy, quince, lemongrass, herbal, malt, rice. FLAVOR- neutral, moderately bitter, citrusy, lime, herbal, lemongrass, rice, resinous. Medium bodied. Very nice

Tap, multiple times, at the Sibeeria Tap Room opening. Thx people! Slightly hazy yellow-golden body, off-white head. Pineapple and herbal notes in the dry aroma, mild brown sugar. Nice, crisp, dry, lightly prickly body, some pineapple touches, vague maltiness, herbal touches. Simple, but really well executed. Props! Beats the Prazdroj version into the ground easily.
