Clear dark amber, small beige head. Dried fruit, malty aroma, yeasty with evident alcohol, a hint of some solvent. Sweet malty, dried fruity flavour, quite some alc warmth. A little rough.

Bottle, huge thanks HP! Slightly hazy deep amber-red body, off-white head. Dried fruit, candy, caramel in the light aroma. Creamy, bit tart taste, caramel, lightly, light raisins, orange peel, fresh enough for the ABV. Surprisingly fine! A drinkable quadoid!

50 cl bottle picked up at a Meny supermarket, poured into a Trappist glass. Deep reddish mahogany colour with a few off-white bubbles on top. Sweet aroma with caramel malts, prunes, red berries, ripe fruity notes. The taste is sweet. Full body. Slightly drying fruity finish with lingering yeasty notes. Somewhat alcohol dense. Fine.

Bottle 50 cl. Pours a clear, reddish brown with a beige head. Alcohol dominates the nose, but there's also molasses, figs and brown sugars. Rich, sweet, malty body. All of the above plus some licorice and raisins with a warming alcohol finish with little bitterness. A lovely and well brewed beer, that might get a little more rounded with some age. 250523
