Almost black color with a fine tan head. Fine intensity in the aroma. Full body and a mellow carbonation level. A bit sweet. Still pleasant to drink. Oily texture. Vanilla, espresso, some roast and cocoa in the flavor. Ok evening sipper.

Can. An unclear dark brown beer topped by a light tan head that both lasts and leaves lacing. It's roasted on the nose, with lots of coffee as well as chocolate, burnt malts, alcohol and some bread hints and caramel notes. It's quite sweet, with some bitterness to deal with it, and a good dash of coffee, roasted malts, chocolate and alcohol. Caramel and a hint of bread crust. Full body, with a pleasant carbonation and alcohol warmth. Lasting finish. Less cocoa and hazelnut than expected, and it's quite intense, but it's a a fine brew anyway.

33 cl can served in big snifter. It slowly and densely pours very dark tar-brown, almost pitch black. Moka-colored head disappears quickly, but a thin layer remains for long. Aroma is intense: burnt oak timber, caramel, dark chocolate, pine cone, coal, coffee. Mouthfeel is very powerful and strong, yet velvety. Alcohol levels are quite evident, even though I've read some comments stating the opposite. Very, very bitter, even though the acidity, fresh and crisp, balances it. Very long lasting aftertaste with reminiscences of bonfire ashes and pine wood.
