Old rating from 27-07-15 - 330ml bottle brought back from my trip to Iceland, poured carefully, but there is still a massive foamy head. Golden orange in colour with a white head that eventually settles down. Aromas of caramel & malt. Tastes of caramel and strong alcohol, not very well hidden. Feels overly carbonated, might explain some of the excessive foamy head. Passable, not something I'd have regularly.

Bottle at the hotel, Reykjavik. Aroma of creamy malt, caramel, red berries, rye, yeast, spicy notes, light hint of funk. Flavour is moderate to medium sweet and a bit sourish. Body is rather full. Interesting and complex Saison, not typical for the style. I say it works.

# 770; 6/2017. Výrazně ostře hořké pivo s výraznou chutí sušených meruňek a s jasně patrným alkoholem.

Bottle shared at a tasting at Yoav's place. Thanks mom for this bottle! Hazy orange. Fruity esters, yeast, spiciness, caramel, candy, a bit of alcohol, sweet, bitterish touch, medium-bodied.

On tap at lvisholt, pours a hazy amber orange with a small beige head. Aroma brings out some red fruits upfront, with gentle saison yeast and bready notes. Flavour is along the same lines, with caramel, bready malt and red fruits. The saison yeast doesn't come out all that much. Fun beer, but not sure what it's supposed to be.

Bottle from Vínbúðin Austurstræti in Reykjavík. Pours hazy orange with a slight near-white head. Aroma is spicy/earthy. Med body or so. Flavor is dark bread/spicy/earthy. Seems a bit over cooked. The earthiness and spice aren’t exactly what I expect from a saison. Too much malt? Something just doesn’t click.
