Much softer. Malty. Light hoppiness. Interesting!

Bottle drunk side by side with I and III. Surprisingly orange in color with a more malty-fruity aroma. Dry and malty but crisp. Medium to light bodied, I guess you could call this the most standard of the 3 Aging Beers from the Baeren Beer Lab sets. 3.4

Bottle (thanks jinroh). Pours amber. Aroma is sweet, grains, csramel. Flavor is sweet and bitter, csrsmel, malt, grains, slight booze. Finish is sweet caramel and dry. Overall: ok. --- Beer merged from original tick of Märzen Aging Ⅱ (2017) on 25 Jan 2018 at 19:30

Bottle from the brewery, mail order. Pours amber, light cloudiness in the glass, foam almost beige. Malty nose, nutty and some light caramel, does not feel very sweet, more of that herbal character coming out. Taste is quite well rounded, nice balance between caramelly and nutty features and medium bitter hops. Some tart notes there and finish is quite dry, with some light lingering bitterness. Good one, better balance compared with the freshest version, feels confident.

Bottle from the brewery. Malty, nutty nose, less sugary than the first, bread, caramel. Light grassy hops. Deep brown-orange with a nice, high head. Rich bready malt flavor, caramel, sweet but rather dry finish. Full body.
