We continue the tradition of barrel aged anniversary beer! This time it's the "cleaner" version. 5th Anniversary is an Imperial Baltic Porter fermented with forest honey, then aged in fantastic Port barrels.

The ninth one of thirteen beers for our thirteenth wedding anniversary. Ajrín's. Bottle 0.33l, two and half years aged. Hazy, copper to brown colored. AROMA- liquor, port wine, honey, dark chocolate pralines. FLAVOR- quite sweet, lightly bitter, lightly warming, the same as aroma, some cherry. Fuller bodied.
Enormously smooth for 18% abv. Gentle killer. Sweet and tasty.

TCBW2024. Black colour, small brown head. Aroma is liquorice, chocolate, some syrupy tones with mild wood as well as some mild alcohol tones. Aroma is liquorice, chocolate, syrup and some mild Port/Madeira sweetness with mild plum, dried fruits and a bit wooden tones too. For being 18% abv, it does hide the alcohol rather well.

Semmi hab, sötétbarna, majdnem fekete szín. Mézes, karamelles, hordós illat. Karamelles, mézes, csokis, hordós, kissé konyakos, vaníliás íz. Testes, közepesen szénsavas, közepesen keserű. Nagyon finom, csak iszonyú erős.

Tap at Prague Beer Fest 2024, huge thanks Dejan! Enormous dried figs-driven aroma, the barrel showing elegantly through it, liiight dog food maltiness perhaps as well. Similar balance in the taste, sweet, supple, caramel, dried dog food, lovely dried figs, light warmth from the well-hidden ABV, just executed so well, huge props!
