Boom! The legendary Icelandic Hurðaskellir (Door Slammer) barges in from the starry night to wake you up with a bang. Enjoy the moment while it lasts, safe in the knowledge that when this unique guest is gone, he will have left behind the grand-slam of holiday gifts; chocolate, toffee and rye whiskey. So why slam the door? Well, how would you feel if you had just been released from several months’ confinement in an old rye whiskey barrel?

Svart. Høyt luftig mokkafarget skum som daler sakte. Beskjeden aroma av røkt lær. Myk munnfølelse. Smaken balansert. Litt sjokolade. Mye salt lakris etter hvert. Alkoholen aldeles bortkamuflert.

A deep porter with a very thin light mocha head. In aroma, sweet fruity chocolate malt with light vanilla, alcohol warmth, Nutella, very nice. In mouth, a nice sweet fruity chocolate malt with light peated notes, vanilla, dark fruits, alcohol warmth, very nice and rich, if lightly chalky. On tap at L'autre oeil.
