Cask at Shakespeare's ACH, Sheffield - Opaque black with a thick beige top. Nice roasted cereal and malty notes, easy on the bitterness, and not overly sweet. Very easy going sessionable stout.

Cask at Sheffield Tap. Pours black with beige to tan foam. Aroma: chocolate, coffee, mild charcoal. Light to moderate sweet & moderate bitter. Light to medium body, smooth with fine carbonation.

Draught, half. @Junkyad, Nottingham (England). 10/10/2024 [#7.860 Global - #953 England - #1 Thirsty Moose Brewing (My english brewery #295)] Pours very dark brown with a creamy tan head. Aroma: milk chocolate, toffee and roasted malts. Taste: cocoa nibs, toffee and brown bread. Nutty palate. Next one, please!

19/7/2024. Cask at the 2024 Chelmsford Summer Beer & Cider Festival. Pours very dark mahogany brown with a small frothy off-white to beige head. Aroma is roasted malts, ashy, chocolate, coffee. Moderate sweetness, quite heavy roasted bitterness. Medium body, smooth, soft carbonation. Enjoyable.

Can thanks to allmyvinyl. Appearance - dark brown to black and opaque. Foamy, beige head. Nose - dark chocolate, chocolate cereal and milk. Taste - creamy chocolate and chocolate cereal. Palate - medium bodied, creamy middle and very light roast on the finish. Overall - lovely stuff.

Can from the brewery online shop. Pours clear darkest brown with a thin tan head. Aromas of cocoa and toffee. Taste is more of the same. Decent body. Cocoa powder finish.

Gravity cask at Pigs Ear'23, day two, 29/11/23. Black with a good sized tan head. Nose is chocolate, dark malts, nutty, toffee. Taste comprises chocolate biscuit, light roast, earthy fruit rinds, nutty tones. Medium bodied, soft carbonation, light drying close. Okay stout.

Gravity cask at Pigs Ear 2023, day 2 - London. Pours clear brown with a bubbly, off-white head. Light-medium sweet flavour, mellow toasted dark malts, some earth, dry cocoa. Light bodied with fine carbonation. Semi-dry finish, toasted cocoa, some old raisins. Alright.
