Smooth, sweetish and a bit stuffy with coconut notes, loads of coffee, hints of ashy roastiness and syrup. A bit unbalanced

16 ounce can from Tavour. Opaque dark brown color. Small creamy tan head. Aroma of roasted malt, coffee and coconut. Flavor is more of the same; sweet roasted malt, coffee and coconut. Added notes of chocolate make you reminisce of a Mounds candy bar. Tasty indeed.

Tap at Muted Horn. Darkest brown, dark tan stable cream. Lovely chocolate bar nose, lovely cocoa and coco notes, a hint licorice. Medium full creamy body, mellow sparkly mouthfeel. Very nice combination of coconut and medium dark chocolate, a bit roast, very drinkable and pleasant.

Poured from a 16 oz can dated April 27, 2020. Aroma is dominated by the adjuncts - tons of coffee with slightly less coconut. Some roast and chocolate malt notes and a hint of alcohol spice. Pours black with a large, thick, pillowy mocha head that recedes slowly to a small, creamy film that lingers. Fairly high amount of lacing and medium small legs. Flavor has a medium light sweetness with moderate chocolate and lighter roast notes. Large amount of coconut flavor with lighter coffee notes. Hints of almond and toasted bread. Light alcohol spice and medium bitterness. Mouthfeel is medium bodied and slightly sticky with medium carbonation. Low astringency and low alcohol warmth. Overall, a nice beer with lots of adjunct character. The coconut and coffee are well balanced and work well with the base beer. Alcohol is present but not prominent.
