Holmfirth 'Last Of The Summer Wine' Tour & Bar Crawl, Beer#11. Last beer in the town centre, which is the house pale ale of O'Brien's, having earlier visited the house of Wally and Nora Batty in the TV show. A regular ale of the brewer without the temptation to rebadge it for house ale purposes. Hazy tropical fruit and pine session session pale ale, in both aroma and taste. Good body for a sesh strength.

Keg at Woodworkers, Belfast, 14/11/2025.
Murky orange topped with an off white cap that thins to a swirl.
Nose is papaya, mandarin, grass, mixed tropicana.
Taste comprises ripe melon, mango flesh, tangerine, light pine nip, soft malts.
Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close splashed with juicy hop bitterness.
Tidy enough pale.

440ml can bought from Tønne, Leicester. Light gold and hazy with a quickly dissipating white head and some lacing. Aroma of orange and grapefruit, maybe a touch of apricot. Taste is bittersweet and frankly a little bit bland but still decent. Short finish. Body is a little watery but the heavy carbonation masks it. It's a bit mid for Boundary but I'm happy enough with it.

On tap at John Hewitt’s. Pours a hazy yellow with a white head that dissipates slowly to the edges. Aroma has a combination of citrus and grass with some rind and a bit of mango underlying. Flavor is grass forward with growing citrus, a bit of onion and grass backing.
