0743/1670. Pours a very dark slightly reddish brown, with some small head. Smells sour, vinegar, some spicy whiskey, oak. Taste is heavy sour, vinegary, tiniest traces of whiskey, bit of red fruit. Some oak tannins, but that's it. Tasty. but expected more.

Bottle #1653/1670. This beer is a hazy dark reddish-brown color with a medium light beige head that recedes steadily to an outer ring. Strings of lacing on the glass. The aroma consists of tart fruit, oak, yeast and malt. Medium body with flavors of tart berries, oaky whiskey, yeast and doughy malt. The finish is vinous oak and tart fruits. Good beer all around.
