Rochdale Winter Ale Trail 2025 Beer#7 at what is officially Venue 10, although it's a cider this time. Golden with a haze about it. Tarty sweet honeycomb notes, probably an acquired taste, I quite like. It's aroma is stated, but a tad more sugary-fruity. Texture is easy enough.

Sample courtesy of Grumbo, cheers Graham! Golden colour, foamy white head that quickly dissipates away and aroma of honey, caramel, apple, wood. Taste is sweet, caramel, honeycomb, sugary, apple, with slight tartness. Medium bodied, low carbonation, sweet honeycomb finish. Quite OK, quite sweet.

18/7/2024. From BIAB at the 2024 Chelmsford Summer Beer & Cider Festival. Pours cloudy yellow gold with minimal head. Aroma is sweet, buttercream, honey, caramel, slightly spiced apple. Quite sweet. Moderate body, low carbonation. Sweet finish, with developing dryness and tartness. Quite nice.

Box @ Tap and Can. Clear gold. More toffee than honeycomb, quite sweet. Fine for what it is.
