500ml bottle. Hazy yellow colour, no head and aroma of sharp sourish apple. Taste is mellow sweetish apple, fruity with barnyard & leathery notes. Smooth juicy mouthfeel, medium bodied, low carbonation, dryish and alittle residual sweetness at the finish. Quite drinkable.

Cask @ Old Gate, Hebden Bridge. Clouded light yellow with a very small bubbly head. Has a good aroma and a full apple taste.

2l from Budleigh Wines, Budleigh Salterton. Hazy golden colour, sweet nose. Well balanced, neither too sweet nor too tart and acid. Highly drinkable.

Draught at the Prince Arthur (JDW), Fleet. Cloudy straw coloured with a dull liveless look; sweet apple aroma; sweet and estery flavour - more pear than apple; then a dry, almost biscuity finish.

Polypin @ Esquire House, JDW. Clear yellow-greenish colour, no head. Nose is plastic, rubber, medium sour apple. Flavour is sour apple, vinegar, wood, slight manure. Dry and sour finish. Not spectacular.
