These Franconican Helles Lagers are named Urtyp Hell or Ur-Hell, meaning that this is the brewers most typical or perfect example of the style. Whilst ours might not be perfect, it surely is a typical example of how the Francoians brew slightly more rich Helles Lagers, than their Münchner cousins to the south.
Expect a golden yellow beer in the glass, with at lovely rich malt body, with both remnants of the light crackery crispness of fresh Pilsner malt, paired with the rich doughy & bready decadence of the melanodin rich munich malts. All carefully interplayed with a gentle bitterness and vibrant hop aromatics of fresh-cut grass, citrus, and black pepper. Zum Wohl!

Draft. A cloudy golden beer with a lazing beige head. The aroma has notes of malt, straw, and a bit of caramel. The flavor is sweet with notes of malt, straw, and hints of caramel, leading to a bitter finish.

@ MBCC, 2024. Pours clear Golden with a White head. Grainy and grassy with plenty of delicious bready malt. Smooth and soft. Lovely.
