Интересный лот от Марлобобо. Есть сладость, причем разная, карамельная от барлика, от меда и сахар карамельный. Приятно на вкус хоть и овер сладко, не сказать что лучшая медовуха, но интересная.

Pour at Ghost Whale, Brixton. Aroma is biigggg and boozy with a cherry edge. Clear ruby red. No head. The mead.take the fire. Cherry. With a bitter steak. Boozy edge. Warming. Heavy. Oily. Thick. Soft-fizzy carbonation. Long slightly astringent finish. Big warming loveliness. .

YG 210824. Dark brown color with no head. Aroma is honey, spices, vanilla. Flavor is honey, alcohol, spices, wild berry, bourbon, fruit, toffe. Nice mead.

Bottle @ Home. Courtesy of Gunfryd. Unclear, oily brown body without any head. Aroma of malt, honey, dark fruit, dry fruit, berries, some vanilla and warming alcohol. Taste has a certain complexity with loads of flavors. Sweet malt and honey, some dry fruit but also acidic berries/fruit, toffee, warming alcohol, plum jam, slightly spicy and some vanilla towards the end. Full bodied with endless aftertaste. Interesting and nice. I appreciate complex flavors from diverse ingrediencies like this one with the honey taste intact instead of a mead that just taste like sweet fruit juice.

Bottle @MBCC 2024, Red Session. Clear dark brown. Woody, herbal honey aroma. Sweet and spicy honey flavour, light booze.

Bottle, 375ml with wine cork. An unclear one, almost, oily pour, still and headless. Brown in color. The aroma has a good dash of berries, with alcohol, brown sugar, blue plum, honey, spice hints, booze and vanilla and some oak. Some notes of imperial stout too, but subdued. It's full-bodied and warming, sweet but not too sticky, with a honey warmth/sting too. Blueberry, honey, dark dried fruit, some spiced and boozy notes, vanilla and oak hints. Lasting finish with a metallic touch. Besides the metallic touch it's really nice. Well, a bit too sweet, but the combo of mead, Barley Wine and Imperial Stout works very well. 240821
