Stolas is a blend of golden ales - aged for 18 months in red wine barrels, and 12 months in Kyrö Distilling Company's gin barrels - along with our signature blend of wild yeasts, Brettanomyces, and lactic acid-producing bacteria. This latest Wild Barrel creation features a garnet-colored body and a complex flavor profile with subtle notes of juniper, oak, and grape tannins. A perfect beer for the fading of the false spring!

750ml bottle. Clear, yellow-ish, faint golden colour with small, frothy to creamy, half-way lasting, minimally lacing, white head. Tangy, yeasty funky and minimally herbal aroma, widely disguised, minimally strawy, pale malty background, notes of brine, mustard seed, dill, a touch of marjoram, tarragon, juniper, white balsamico, grapefruit rind, oaky overtones. Taste is tart, tangy, funky yeasty, minimally fruity and herbal, minimally tannic, pale malty basis with low residual sweetness, notes of brine, white balsamico, a touch of dill, mustard seed, juniper unripe kiwi fruit, some oak, a touch of grapefruit rind.
Oily-watery texture, smooth and soft, minimally greasy on the lips, rather astringent on palate and in the gullet, medium to fine, prickly carbonation.
Complex, fairly balanced (though quite astringent) - pretty decent but simply not my cup of tea.

Хороший аромат сразу, много диких дрожжей, немного сена, как будто виноград есть, пшеница. Вкус тоже комплексный, много дрожжей приятных, кислота в меру. Хорошее пивко под конец.

0,75l bottle from the brewery. Bbe 15.12.2028. Bit hazy, almost clear golden beer with medium, but very stable head. Aroma and flavor has tart notes, oak, vanilla and juniper with dryness and bitterness at the end. Good for the style. Interesting.

(Keg at Craft Beer Garden 2024 Saturday session) The beer poured golden and cloudy. Its head was small and white. Aroma had fruitiness, vanilla, spiciness and juniper. Palate was medium bodied and dry with medium carbonation. Flavours were tartness, fruitiness, wood, vanilla and bitterness. Aftertaste was woody, tart and bitter. A tasty and complex brew.
