Cerveza marrón oscuro con reflejos rojizos, opaca, espuma beige cremosa de media retención. Aroma robusto y contundente a cacao puro, café expreso, ceniza, salazón. En boca los tonos tostados y quemados inundan el paladar , café, chocolate puro, tabaco negro, pan quemado, punto salado, cerveza muy equilibrada para su contundencia, trago muy agradable, oleosa, disfrutable, seca, se torna más dulzona y licorosa conforme atempera, manteniendo siempre ese fondo amargo, ahumado y salado. Cojonuda.

Negra opaca. Abundante espuma cremosa. Ocre y beige. Buen aspecto. Aroma marcado, café, notas ahumadas. Cuerpo intenso. Oleosa, densa. Amargor moderado, punto ligeramente ácido. Rico sabor. Malta tostada, mucho café. Notas de chocolate. Punto salado. Intensa.

I didn’t realize it was brewed with anchovies when i picked it up- I probably would have passed, though I’m glad I didn’t. There is a big olive brine note in the aroma along with coffee, chocolate, roasted malt. It’s like the first time you open a fresh jar of olives. The flavor has a touch of the same, but very reserved. Salty brine, umami, roasted malts, coffee, chocolate, earth. No anchovy notes to be found. A bit of an odd inclusion, until you remember it’s brewed in Spain … a country who loves their tiny fish. Impressed with this. Overall, a well made impy with some interesting brine notes along the way.

Bottle from Euro local swap 3/2019, I believe. Many thanks to Teddybeer. Dark brown color with small beige head. Strong coffee aroma complemented with licorice, vanilla. Taste, coffee, dark chocolate, chilli (?). In fact I don't taste anchovies, which is good for me. Nice, complex, tasty.

Tap @ Borefts. Roast, licorice, salt in the aroma. Only the salt I’m afraid, not really the anchovi. Malty sweet flavor with caramel, roast and salted licorice. Full bodied.

Botella 33 CL en Cimmeria 06..04.. 2019. (r26). Color negro intenso con espuma beige oscuro que desaparece al poco tiempo casi por completo. Sabores maltosos tostados con suaves especiados y buena dosis de torrefactos y achicoria que casi lo dominan todo. De las anchoas hay poco rastro, salvo una suave sensación salada al final poco perceptible. Cuerpo medio con bastante sabor y buena densidad. Bastante buena, original por el suave toque salado del final

Draught, taster. Sampled on the 16/03/2019 at Barcelona Beer Festival 2019, (L´Hospitalet, Spain). Dark brown colour with a medium tan head. Aroma is licorice, black chocolate, roasted malts and some smoked fish. Taste is black chocolate, slightly salty, burnt caramel and some licorice. Finish is thin and slightly sweet. Next one please!
