37,5cl Fles van Oedipus webshop. Iets mistig goudgele kleur, geen kraag. Zuur, witte druiven, erg fris, citroenschil, hout, iets acetisch, citroenzuur, zure finish. Lichte body. Erg smaakvol, goed doordrinkbaar. Lekker.

Bottle. Color: Clear pale golgen, fast disappearing white head. Aroma: Grape, vinuous, malty, lightly tart. Taste: Farm-like funk, red and white grape, grapeskin. Some oak wood too and hints of hay. Moderate tart, light sweetness. Medium body, average carbonation. Quite carbonated for this style. Always a pleasure to taste a new Oedipus wild ale experiment, although this one is not one of their highest rated in my case.

0.375 l bottle from 'Drankgigant.nl', bottled in November 2020. Hazy, golden amber with a medium large, frothy, almost stable, white head. Slightly sweetish, a little sourish-funky, quite fruity and a bit vinous aroma of red wine, oak and lemon. Gently sweet, slightly sour, rather fruity taste of lemon, oak, red wine, some rhubarb and a touch of lemongrass, followed by medium long, quite tart, moderately dry, woody and minimally funky finish. Medium body, gently astringent and moderately effervescent mouthfeel, average carbonation. Maybe not as interesting as 'Bepa', still quite good on its own, nothing really left of a Witbier.
