Can at home. I was looking forward to this in hopes of getting at least a decent ESB out but damn was I wrong. They managed to get exactly nothing right, not the malt bill, not the yeast expression nor the hop character. Kinda amazing in a way now that I come to think about it

Clear dark beige to orange beer, small creamy white head, unstable, a bit adhesive. Aroma: very fruity, pears, apples, a bit oxidized, malty, grains, some caramel. MF: ok carbon, medium body. Taste: citrus, good bitterness, grassy, a bit malty, some grapefruit, refreshing! Aftertaste: bitter, grains, apples, hoppy, grassy, decent stuff!

0.33 l can from 'Drankgigant.nl', canned in October 2023. Hazy, amber with a medium large, foamy, stable, white head. Slightly sweetish, moderately fruity-floral, gently grassy aroma of lemon peel, light honey and hints of hay. Gently sweet, malty, moderately bitter, gently fruity-floral, slightly grassy taste of grains, lemon peel, hay, grapefruit and some honey, followed by a short, gently bitter, slightly dry finish. Almost medium-bodied, smooth and gently effervescent mouthfeel, average carbonation. Decent ale, fairly sessionable, leaning towards golden ale territory.

Decent enough beer. Just a craft version of an english beer. A bit modernized for a classic style. Bierkonig ams
