Oedipus #100: 0.375 l bottle from 'Hello Bier', bottled in June 2021. Hazy, pale orange with a thin, frothy, quickly diminishing, white head. Sweetish, slightly sourish, rather vinous-fruity and gently funky aroma of red wine, orange, rhubarb, barnyard and wood. Gently sweet, moderately sour, rather vinous-fruity and slightly funky taste of red wine, oak, barnyard, hay, orange and some rhubarb, followed by a short, gently tart, moderately dry finish. Medium body, slightly astringent and hardly effervescent mouthfeel, very soft carbonation. Tasty and complex ale, nicely vinous, rather mellow and quaffable. Love that stuff from Oedipus.

On tap at Oedipus, pours a cloudy amber orange with a small white head. Aroma brings out of dry, musty, red grape skins, some bugs, and a little oak. Flavour is very earthy and dry, with a hint of phenols, lots of earth dry grape skins, and a hint of bugs. Yeah, there are definitely some phenols here that ruin this a bit. The Alice is way better.

37.5cl Fles van Oedipus webshop. Mistig goud-roze kleur, witte kraag. Licht vineus, druiven, zurig, hout, limoen, gist, licht funky, citroen, rode wijn. Lichte body. Leuk, maar nog niet geheel overtuigend wat mij betreft.

Bottle. Color: Lightly hazy reddish golden, off-white head. Aroma: Tart, funky, grape. Taste: Moderate tart, spicy hints, funky horse stable notes, fruity grapes and light hints of lime. Hints of oak wood. Lightly creamy, quite smooth mouthfeel. Dry-ish mouthfeel. Medium body, below average carbonation.
