Can. A light haze on this deep brown beer, small bubbly tan head. Fairly smooth start to the palate, mildly dry, good fine minerally crispness on the back end. Smooth caramel and toffee malt base, some creamy sweetness and a little dark chocolate, not much. Ripe fruity bourbon on the back end, some modest alcohol spice. Mild vanilla barrel. Light and mildly dry finish. A classic bba bw, but nothing new, just the classic style done very well indeed. Juicy and very drinkable.

33cl Blik. Donkerbruine kleur, snel verdwenen kraag. Rozijnen, bourbon, vrij zoet, vijgen, stroop, ahornsiroop, kokos, flink boozy nog ondanks het relatief lage ABV, bitterzoete finish. Medium tot volle body. Bourbon-bom.

Taste comprises caramel fudge, bourbon, molasses, brown sugar melt, caramel, light spice, figgy jam, dates, raisins. Full bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close with a balanced kiss of alcohol. 0.33 l can from 'Ace Drinks', best before December 2026. Slightly hazy, very dark ruby with a medium large, frothy, slowly diminishing, beige head. Sweetish-malty, quite boozy, slightly fruity aroma of treacle, licorice root, lots of bourbon, vanilla, caramel and some raisins. Fairly sweet, malty, gently bitter, quite boozy, slightly fruity taste of treacle, licorice root, some lovage, lots of bourbon, vanilla, caramel and raisins, followed by a long, gently bitter, boozy and a little woody finish. Almost full-bodied, smooth and slightly oily mouthfeel, soft carbonation. Super heavy beer, very intense, feels a bit young, not perfectly balanced at least. Great flavours though, fairly unusual but moreish. Demanding beer, hard to believe it's got less than 10% abv.
