Can via Gentse Biervereniging.
A: hazy black, small, foamy, beige head.
A: coffee, liquorice root, toasted hazelnut, wood, brandy.
T: sweetish prune, herbal liquorice, coffee roast, tad umami.
F: herbal & peppery hops, coffee, liquorice, boozy brandy alcohol.
P: medium to full body, oily texture, average carbonation.
Good mix of flavours finishing off well with the cognac, nice.

Clear dark brown beer, small creamy beige head, a little stable, non adhesive. Aroma: lots of alcohol, oxidised, a bit roasted, cognac, caramel. MF: soft carbon, medium to full body. Taste: good roast, alcohol, bitter, lots of dark chocolate, more alcohol, yeasty, banana. Aftertaste: caramel, alcohol, chocolate, coffee, sweet touch, more alcohol, cognac, ripe banana, bitter finish, more chocolate, very nice!

Blikje gedeeld door Tomhendriksen. Gitzwart bier met beige schuimkraag die snel wegtrekt. Aroma van gebrande mout en cognac. Volle smaak van donker fruit, hout en cognac. Nasmaak is zoet en plakkerig.

Blik gedeeld met Inoven. Het is een pikzwart bier met een medium bruinig schuim. Het heeft een aroma van gebrande mout, hout en cognac. De smaak is vol, cognac, hout en donker fruit.

0.33 l can from 'Beerdome', best before November 2025. Last beer of 'De Natte Gijt'. Pitch black with a thin, foamy, slowly diminishing, brown head. Sweetish-malty, gently roasty and slightly fruity aroma of dark chocolate, hazelnut, coffee, fruity cognac and some vanilla. Rather sweet, malty, fairly roasty, a bit fruity taste of dark chocolate, coffee, licorice, hazelnut, cognac and some vanilla, followed by a long, quite roasty-bitter, slightly warming, rather hot finish. Medium to full body, smooth and slightly effervescent mouthfeel, soft carbonation. Very intense beer, a little too boozy but really tasty. Good!
