Wir haben wieder einmal unsere Freunde von Bierol eingeladen, um die fünfte Auflage von dem überall beliebten Hammer Time IPA zu brauen. Wieder wurde eine Symbiose aus spannenden Hopfenaromen und bayerischer Trinkgemütlichkeit geschaffen. Fruchtig frischer Geschmack gepaart mit hoher Trinkbarkeit und das auch noch in der 0,5l Euro Flasche.

Ein Hammer-Bier. India Pale Ale mit Calypso, Mosaik, Sultana und Citra.

Hopfen: Calypso, Mosaik, Sultana und Citra

Heller, herb-hopfiger Beginn. Geringe Süße, der Hopfen bleibt modert, etwas helles Malz, zunehmend trocken. Leicht harzig, frischer, zunehmend bitter hopfiger Abgang. Gut trinkbar. 10/10/11/10/7/10

Hazy golden beer with a big off white head. Aroma of tropical fruits, citrus, yeast. Taste of intense citrusy hops, yellow stone fruits, dry bitter finish.

500 ml bottle. Very hazy orange yellow with a big fluffy head. Very tropical, mango, papaya, grapefruit zest, resin, bitter herbs, lemon. Herbal hoppy zesty bitterness. Medium bodied, juicy milky texture, lively carbonated, hoppy herbal zesty bitter finish. Not as good as the previous versions.

Smell of spruce, hops. Opaque yellow colour, white head. Aroma of hops, spruce, grapefruit peel. Bitter. Soft carbon.

Bottle picked up from Craft Beer Shop and consumed at home Tuesday 4th June 2024, sat in the garden. Loz has returned after a week in Greece at Volos with work..Milky yellow with a large white head, hugely happy, hoppy burps. Soft mouthfeel, nice carbonation, good bite, there is a citrus fruitiness to this but the cocktail of hops also throws in a tropicalness, not my favourite style but it's good. Btw never heard of sultana hops, must be a new variety..

Bottle from Bierkiste. Murky golden yellow, white lace. Nice citric and tropical aroma. Medium full light chalky body, dry chewy. Flowery and herbal bitter on the palate with fruity perfumed notes retronasal. Fruitrind bitter aftertaste.
