Bottle from Sandersput Ninove. Bottled: 2023. Clear golden, stable, foamy, white head. Aroma of grapefruit zest, orange peel, cottage cheese, green olive, straw, wood, leather, lime, rosemary, sorrel. Taste has sour orange, green apple and gooseberry, slightly bitter grapefruit peel as well in a bread-crusty malt body, enhanced by funky straw and sour cream notes. Very slighty salty-minerally, reminiscent of green olive. Bitter grassy hops in the finish, woody too, with the orange peel bitter- & freshness reappearing. Medium body, slick-moussy texture, average carbonation. Very refreshing, and accessible as well for a Lambic without comprimising its profile.

Bottle. Rather clear orange-golden color with white head. Aroma is fruity, tangerines definitely. Taste is the same, nice little saltiness. Oily mouthfeel, sparkling carbonation. Nice one!

Bottle. Color: Slightly hazy golden, white head. A lot of tiny carbonation bubbles going up in the glass. Aroma: Citrus fruit, rural funk, some tartness. Taste: Moderate to over moderate tartness, fruity citrus fruit (orange, tangerine, some lime), some wood and hints of old hop, minerals. Dry-ish finish. Medium body, just below average carbonation. Very light bitterness. Only light hints of salt, don't know if I would have recognized it when it wouldn't have been stated on the label.
Nice, refreshing.

One of a growing number of ‘Sparkling Infused’ beers by Oud Beersel, bottled lambics with special flavourings made to referment by the addition of bottle sugar. Off-white, tiny-bubbled, opening, medium thick head on an initially clear ‘old golden’ robe with apricot tinge and a column of lively sparkling in the middle, turning hazy and more deeply peachy with sediment. Aroma of dried tangerine peel for sure, green apple, old wood, dust, parmigiano which I assume represents the ‘salted’ part, sorrel, lime zest, wakame, petrichor, chlorine (Boon!), stinging nettles. Tart, lime-like onset, estery notes of purple gooseberries, green apple and indeed something very citric connected to the added tangerine peel; saltiness remains subtle but is certainly noticeable and again somewhat parmigiano-like. Drying lactic acid pierces through it all but remains lively and fruity, though a clean bread-crusty core and alongside minerally undertones; woody tannins bring further dryness and ‘rusticity’, but the tangerine element keeps things colourful and refreshing, with a lovely bitter-tart ending with that saltiness still lingering amidst green apple, gooseberry and unripe plum effects from the lambic. Generally smooth, very bright and ‘sunny’ lambic – I loved it.
