Bottle at home, can't recall from which online peddler, 16/10/24. Black with a good sized khaki head. Nose is dark chocolate, hazelnut, touch of jammy berries, mellow roast, bourbon nip. Taste comprises decadent chocolate, light bourbon rip, vanilla, molasses, brown sugar coating, light spice, toffee fudge, Cadburys Fruit and Nut. Full bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close with a balanced rising boost. Solid pastry kit.

Bottle at Palace Hall 07/09/2024 Malmö September tasting - dark sweet and roasted malty with opulent chocolate, maple, some lovely nutty accents running throughout, full bodied, dark malty bourbon infused lingering finish. Lovely.

9-4-8-4-16 Bottle, 4,5 years before bbd. Pours pitch black, with a creamy mocha head. Aroma is dark malts with bread, chocolate, muscovado, hazelnut and notes of coconuts, as well as tobacco, rum raisins, tannins and wooden barrels. Full body, with soft carbonation. Flavour is roasted malts with bread, chocolate, hazelnut and sweet notes of raw liquorice, as well tobacco and wooden barrels.

Draught, shared with friends at Bryggerifestivalen 2024. Jet black in the glass, covering fawn-coloured head, scattered lacing. Attractive on the nose with grainy chocolate, nuts and syrup. Solid taste profile with tasty moments of maple syrup, nuts, and black chocolate malts on a backbone of oak. Lingering, nicely roasted malt-driven ending with a bourbon touch. Full bodied. Solid dessert this one Complete black and a fine head Good intensity in the aroma. Ok sweetness for a beer like this. But impossible to drink a lot of it Gently carbonated Vanilla, toffee, chocolate, oak and some spices in the flavor [Bottle – shared by Kenneth]
