Drukket på Bergstua. Ultramørk amber. Lavt lysebrunt skum som blir helt borte etter hvert.. Aroma av mørke bær. Vinøs. Smaken trepreget. Sevje. Mandelkjernepudding etter hvert. Lett syrlig bitter avslutning. Klumpsedimenter i siste kvelling.

En 0,33 flaske fra stalinorgelet på Våland Bryghus, delt med Johan og Bernt: klar, mørk teakbrun med fint skum som varer. Mørke karameller og noe bæraktig, hint av einer og bitterappelsiner. Deilig maltpreg og tydelig mersmak.

330ml bottle, #121, bought at Vinmonopolet Langnes. Dissipating, noisy fawn-coloured head, scattered lacing, rustic-black body. Inviting smell of dried fruits and mid-sweet malts. Rather well blended taste of dried and dark fruits, mild caramel malts, and a distant touch of spices. Smooth dark malt-fruity ending, semi sweet. Fine bodied. Likeable. (Tromsø, 30.11.2023).

330 ml bottle, batch #121, from Vinmonopolet, Nettbutikken. ABV is 10%. Dark brown colour, small beige head. Aroma of malts, caramel, dark dried fruits and mild spices. The flavour has the same elements, and the spiciness is more distinct now. Moderate hops. Fairly good beer.

Bottle @ home. Clear, amber body with sediments in bottom under a small, dense, lacing beige head. Aroma has light roasted malt, dry fruit, hint of toffee and a touch of alcohol. Taste has balanced sweetness, brown malt, dry fruit, some warming alcohol a spicy touch and moderate bitterness. Fine body with long lasting aftertaste. This is not the smoothest quad I have tasted, it has some sharp edges, but there is something here anyway that I appreciate and find enjoyable.
