[Cask at the Basingstoke Beer Festival 2025.] An attractive cola brown pour with a reddish gleam; fruity aroma; red fruit taste with a touch of citrus and toasted malts; then a light bitterness to finish. Less assertive than I was expecting.

Cask at Convivial Rabbit Dorchester. Opaque cola brown- the darkest version. Thin frothy foamy beige head. Aroma is weirdly non-existent. Light-medium bitter. Treacle edge. Coffee and charcoal. Medium bodied. Slick but sticky. Long ry somewhat astringent finish. Nice if not overly exciting

Gravity cask at day 2 of the 40th Pigs Ear Beer festival, Round Chapel Hackney, 04/12/24.
Mahogany brown topped with a lasting beige head.
Nose is dark malts, light roast, charr, burnt toffee.
Taste comprises brown bread, dried fruit rinds, earthy roast, ashen nip.
Medium bodied, soft carbonation, drying close closing with a modest earthy hop bite.
Passable CDA ... on the thin side.

Gravity cask at Pig’s Ear 2024 - Hackney. Pours clear copper-brown with a frothy, yellow-khaki head. Light sweet flavour with notes of toasted graham crackers, a little dough, yeast, faint cocoa, earth. Light bodied with fine carbonation; good condition. Balanced finish, mild bitter cocoa, toasted crackery malts. Tasty.

Cask at Pig's Ear. Clear amber beer, small bubbly pale tan head. Light palate, semi dry, good fine minerally carbonation. Mellow dark chocolate malts, modest ripe fruits. Smooth cooling pine. Light finish. Decent pine but needs more hop muscle.

Half-pint, cask ale at RedHouse. Shared with Finn. Low, fawn-coloured head, deep dark brownish body, fair lacing. Quite inviting smell of toffee and dried fruits. The taste profile follows suit with toffee, bread, and dried fruits. Mid-sweet brown malty tail. Quite nice. (Newcastle upon Tyne, 19.03.2024).

Delt med Rune. Mørk amber. Lavt luftig skum med litt farge. Lett karamellaroma. Myk munnfølelse. Smaken skareprøstet malt. Hint av lakris. Bitter avslutning.
